We had an excellent turnout for this morning’s meeting. Networking with other business owners and exchanging referrals and business ideas is a great way to start your day. Thank you to all of our guests who attended our Summer Networking Event. Lots of new contacts were made and new relationships formed. As we discussed at our meeting, the best type of marketing is word of mouth. Traditional, outbound marketing and advertising is losing its effectiveness as consumers are inundated with marketing messages that they are learning to ignore. That’s why inbound marketing, where the consumer finds you, is more effective today because people are asking their friends and neighbors for referrals and recommendations. These conversations are taking place in person and online through social media. If you’re not expanding your network of relationships, EEC is a great place to start. We hope to see you at our next meeting.
